About Me
Hi, I'm Justin!

I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, and have lived there most of my life, all the way until I headed off to college in fact. Growing up, I always had a fascination with technology, especially digital technology, and spent hours upon hours every day using my computer, listening to music on a portable CD player (remember those?), watching animated films, and playing video games. In the latter half of my high school experience, I set my sights on getting a college degree that would allow me to work within the broad field of digital multimedia.

I applied to the University of Florida in hopes of entering their unique digital arts and sciences "BADAS" program and got accepted in 2017. During my time at UF, particularly my Junior and Senior year after officially being accepted into the full BADAS program, I got to work in-depth with a range of digital multimedia like never before, and it was a dream come true. Those 2 years are some of the most valuable years in my life that I will always treasure, mostly thanks to the incredible professors of Digital Worlds Institute who lifted me up every step of the way and helped me find my passions.

Throughout my time in the BADAS program, I solidified my desire to specialize in game development moving forward in my career, and am now also highly interested in continuing to learn technical art, particularly VFX and motion graphics, beyond what my education at UF has already taught me. Though I focused heavily on game design and 3D animation in my program, I learned so many other skills during my time at UF (including 3D modeling, 2D rigging, UI/UX design, videography, photography, mobile app development, and basic computer programming), and will always strive to further strengthen my abilities and keep doors open in every area of the digital landscape!

In the present day, I now have 3+ years of professional experience in the video game industry as a Quality Assurance Analyst and am actively working on expanding into other areas of game development and technical design!
